Dorothy Randle is an experienced journalist with an accomplished background in magazine
publishing. She joined the LA MBOC team in July 2006 as the Program and Communications Manager.
In her last position, she was the General Manager for a nationally distributed business magazine for
African American entrepreneurs, based out of Los Angeles, California.
During her tenure there she managed the day-to-day operations of the company. Her most noteworthy
responsibility was the supervising the operations of the magazine. The magazine was significantly
enhanced under her guiding hand and people friendly leadership.
To her credit Dorothy's successes include:
- Improving the magazine's design and content
- Restructuring and accelerating editorial and print production schedules
- Increasing distribution 80%. Leveraging and developing strategic
partnerships

In her current LA MBOC role, she is responsible for managing the MBDA client documentation compliance and assuring
that all program files are efficiently maintained satisfactorily in accordance with MBDA standards. She also handles
marketing LA MBOC and coordinating outreach events, workshops, and partnership events, including the Los Angeles MED
Week activities and the Los Angeles Vendor Fair.
Ms. Randle experience includes producing business, social, and networking events, conducting business seminars,
and handling public relations and marketing projects.
Her passion for serving minority entrepreneurs over the past 12 years stems from her desire to make a positive
difference in the business community. She especially enjoys helping entrepreneurs connect with others so they can
take their business to the next level.
She has a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Biola University and a Bachelor of Arts in
Communications Journalism from California State University Dominguez Hills.
