Carol Perez is the Systems and Business Coordinator for the Los Angeles Minority Business Opportunity Center. In this capacity she is responsible for maintaining the Centers client files, inputting data into the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) performance portal, assisting the executive director, and supporting the business development managers and other staff.
In her former job she was an administrative assistant for real estate developers and the mortgage funding office of her last employer. Her job involved overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, including: serving as the liaison on construction projects, between the city planning, architects and developers. Using her organizational skills she has been successful in managing multiple tasks simultaneously for the company like project finance & budgeting, company payroll, and maintaining accurate records, and accounts payable.
Other experiences include: being an assistant to a nursing director where she maintained files and time sheets, wrote quarterly time-record reports, assisted with budget reports, and keep budget records, and ordered supplies.
She is a graduate of USC with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts from Mount St. Mary College. Her educational plans include returning to school to pursue a Masters in Business Administration. |
